OK, it's obviously there.
Make sure you have the patch cables plugged in correctly (e.g. the 'out' from the
computer
goes into the 'in' of the synth, and vice versa), and then run
playmidi -er /usr/share/sndconfig/sample.midi
You should get some funky music from your synth. :-)
That's what works for me, anyways.
