I upgraded my 5.0 to 5.1 and I noticed the same problem everyone was
mensioning. Upon looking at my /etc/lilo.conf file I found that it
was set to the old /boot/vmlinuz-2.0.31 which didn't exist anymore.
I changed this and /sbin/lilo'd and all seem to work fine. It was
interesting that my /boot/vmlinuz-2.0.31kernel wasn't in that
directory anymore ??? It was a simple fix and was only a boot away
from the full 2.0.34.
