Ok, i'm sure you have it 99% of the way to a working system, why don't you post
your configuration files to show your setup maybe someone will be able to spot a
problem.
Incidentally are you using the ktune option? If not, that might be all you need.

ktune? missed that in the man pages. I've added it now but still no route out. Still no gateway and netmask showing on the connecting laptop. :(
