Boy I could use some help with this. I can't burn a DVD with xcdroast.
I've tried following the instructions at these links but so far no
success.

http://www.fokus.gmd.de/research/cc/glone/employees/joerg.schilling/private/cdrecord.html
ftp://ftp.berlios.de/pub/cdrecord/ProDVD/README

Every time I try to burn a DVD I get an error that the cdrecord version
doesn't support DVDRW/R or something like that.

Yet it seems like xcdroast does see cdrecord.prodvd (located in
/usr/lib/xcdroast-0.98/bin directory) because it lets me enter the key
for personal use on the options page. If that file isn't there this part
is greyed out.

Anyone tell me what I might be missing?

Thanks,
James
