To be honest, i am running the Linux in question on a dual partition.
I do most of my sound in another OS.

I just wanted to know if i could resolve the detection of my USB Audio
(15 times for the same card! incorrect) and manually assign cards on the
fly in Redhat.

My setup is not standard, it's very low budget and unconventional, i
wish i had the kind of setup your customers have... but what i have is
good enough.

As for memories... (a tear in the eye!)

There is no Fast Tracker for Linux, but there is Skale for Linux in
"alpha" (email the author, he hasn't released the linux version to the
public.) http://www.skale.org/ - Also, Renoise has promised that a Linux
version is on the horizon. http://www.renoise.com/ - and there are
several trackers available for linux, as well as many other sound apps -
check out http://www.linuxsound.at/

Thank you for your time.
