I've run into a real problem. The / partition and the /bin partion both have rwx permissions for root. I can rename a file, or write a file in the / partition without a problem. However, I can't do either in the /bin partition. Even a vi of a new file won't write the file. I also can't delete any files in /bin. I can create a new directory /bin2 and do a mv of all the files in /bin to /bin2. The files get copied to /bin2 but not deleted. Any clue as to what is causing this and how I can fix the /bin directory to alow rwx. It's the write permission that seems to be screwing things up.
