Mike, Can you please send me a copy of what your smb.conf looks like. I'm not sure as to what I need to edit in mine. If you could help me with that and let me know of any other files I need to change in order to establish connection with my win98 machine would be greatly appreciated.
When I first turn on my win98 pc (joe) and then boot up my Linux RH 8.0 machine (Glen) I can see Glen in Network Neihborhood. Then 5 mins later I can't. Any ideas on what I need to fix. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mike Burger" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Sunday, January 26, 2003 11:45 AM Subject: Re: Network Issue > On Sun, 26 Jan 2003, John Salamone wrote: > > > Smbd and nmbd services are running but I have yet to set up shares on the > > Linux side as I am still trying to figure it out how to do it via webmin?
