Larry,

I have not checked any logs but will do so now. Having trouble determining
master browser? How do I config that in smb.conf file?

In case I need to set up my linux box as a wins server and point win98 box
to resolve names, could you please help me through it step by step as I am
very new to Linux.  Thanks for all your help.
