Ok, Solution for most dependency hell issues. Everyone listen up. It is called apt and it has a nice gui frontend called synaptic. It is not fullproof and I think that the way rpms are put together, especially library groups and such can be improved. Still, it helps a lot. Want a new app. No searching or fussing. I just call up synaptic, scroll down the list, choose the app and click the buttons to install it. Yes, BTW, redhat's own fine package management tool should come with a apt interface.
