Whoa - hold the phone. Just so happens I have a customer's PC over here with 8.0 on it, and this happens every 3 or 4 minutes as well. Could you please give me the EXACT line(s) in your modules.conf? Mine says alias scsi_hostadapter aic7xxx where do I put the no_probe bit?
