Best distribution wrt pkg management

I have been on Redhat 7.2 for well over a year now, but I dont like the package management system (rpm) that redhat provides (Two words - dependency hell).

I am thinking of trying some other distribution just for that. What are some of the other distributions to look out for ... I have seen some good reviews for Libranet.
