Hello!
I'm having some problems with getting my modem to dial. It's not the most
serious of problems, as I, most of the time, can get it to dial. But quite
often, after I've "hung up", and then want to go online again, the modem
refuses to dial. I use usernet to go online.
I've read the Serial and PPP HOWTOs, and it seems that the problem might be
that the modem doesn't reset when when I hang up. Is there an easy way to
reset the modem? Has anyone had the same problem, and solved it? Could there
be some other error? The problem sometimes occur even though I haven't been
online, I try to go online, and the modem doesn't dial. It's a bit frustrating
to have to reboot Linux to get the modem to dial...
