Mike,
I don't know what your doing with your server, something like a
webserver or somesuch no doubt, but what I meant was not chown
them so the user can delete them, which I have seen happen before.
I'll get burned for this, but in short just copy the files from
the /home/ftp directory as is. If this fixes the problem then
worry about getting the perms right. Does it fix the problem BTW?
