Not sure if this will work but:
Remove apache ('rpm -e apache-whatever' or from glint),
check the /home, /etc, /usr/local/src, and /usr/bin dir for any left over
apache dirs/files,
delete anything found above (especialy /home/httpd if there),
Re-install apache ('rpm -ivh apache-whatever' or glint),
Verify the install ('rpm -vh apache-whatever' or glint),
start httpd.
I don't know what '/home/httpd/html/var/lock/subsys/httpd.10212' is? It's
not in my apache root dir. That looks like it should be pointing to
'/var/lock/subsys/httpd.whatever' not the html doc root.
This looks like the install is FUBARed but I could be wrong.
Hope this helps.
