Thank you for your samba tips, but I as I have found out the problem
was elsewhere. I was able to print allright via samba, using vanilla
printer control tool. The original printer, a HP color laser has so
far withstood all my persuasions. I don't know whether this is a PCL
incompatibility problem or an target machine #^#$%$~! Win95
share misconfiguration, anyways, the problem is suspended until tomorrow.
