Thanks for the help. I know now for sure it is a hardware problem. I
recompiled a pre-2.0.34 kernel on my other computer (the problem-computer is
giving a sig 11 when compiling kernel) and I transfered it to the server.
Rebooted it, and after about two hours it gave me an General Protection
Fault. The system was off the network, so no nasty packets...
