ah yes, while i had set configure args to disable use of python (it is used to create an icon, and i personally feel making the game depend on python to just create an icon was a bit excessive) i did not realize there was also a script in the source tarball's man/ directory 'docgen' that made use of python also. i have fixed this by simply adding a post-install: directive in the port's Makefile to copy the manpages which are pregenerated in the tarball anyhow, avoiding python once again and now working on my compaq that does not have python installed. attached is an updated version, hope this resolves the issue for the people without python! regards, -ryan
