Hi ports@, I have not had any feedback for my (hopefully) complete texlive port, nor have i had any comment upon my proposal for how it might be merged into the OpenBSD ports (http://marc.info/?l=openbsd-ports&m=118313079506397&w=2 ). Apparently Simon@ was going to test for me, but much time has passed since then, and so I dropped him a personal mail over a week ago with no reply. Perhaps he is busy or on holiday. I don't know.
I think it would be a terrible shame if interest in integrating a modern TeX distribution into OpenBSD has fizzled out. Perhaps I can inspire people with an example of what the new ConTeXt compiler can achieve. http://students.dec.bmth.ac.uk/ebarrett/texlive/context.pdf .
