Hi all, Find enclosed port of pulseaudio 0.9.6 for openbsd. Pulseaudio is a low latency sound server with full compatibility with esound. Pulsaudio is far better than esound and could enhanced sound experience on openbsd. More info here : http://pulseaudio.org/
Pulseaudio works well here as user on an i386 machine. I didn't test it on other archs. To enable esd compatibility with esd for all application just ln -s /usr/local/bin/esdcompat /usr/local/bin/esd I profide a default config file to use /dev/audio. Just rename *-dist in /etc/pulse. Attached is also a port for libatomic_ops a library needed by pulse audio that provides implementations for atomic memory update operations : http://www.hpl.hp.com/research/linux/atomic_ops/ Ports are here : * Pulse audio : http://babilu.metavers.net/openbsd/pulseaudio/obsd-pulseaudio-0.9.6.tar.gz * libatomic_ops http://babilu.metavers.net/openbsd/libatomic_ops/obsd-libatomic_ops-1.2.tar.gz Please tell me if it works for you and what I have to change. Enjoy. Benoit -- bchesneau.info | neurofriends.net | osbud.net
