Maybe, but this adds a nontrivial dependency to a package that is at
least partially useful because it's so lean.

If you want to remove FLAVORs, I'd be happier to see the sidebar
integrated into the main package (even though I don't use that either;
but a larger portion of people might find it useful, and it's much less
heavy).
