Let me just set this straight (and then I'll shut up about it forever) -
what you say is absolutely true. What I was trying to say with that was to
comment on Aaron's original point of being "too cartoonish" and "not
serious enough for business" with marine codenames, which I think is just
not entirely true as there is Ubuntu and OS X (and probably more) using
animal names (cats, even!) and it does not make them "too cartoonish" and
"not serious enough for business" (Google uses largly both [Goobuntu based
on Ubuntu]).

So, in other words, it does not make them /less/ successful to have animal
codenames, if it makes them more, that's a completely different story.
