Hi, I hope this is the best place to ask:
I understand that KWin is its own wayland server/compositor/whatever-you-call it, so it might be possible to use kwin_wayland to get an impression of running a desktop under Wayland instead of X11? If so, is there a succinct tutorial somewhere showing the steps to get a simple test environment up and running without interfering with my regular X11 session? This is not on a standard distro with a standard full Plasma5 DE so I cannot simply ask to use Wayland while logging in, so I presume I'd either start a session manually from a virtual terminal so it runs parallel to my X11 session, or I'd start a session that runs in an X11 window under my regular session (in that case: how representative and not limited by X11 can it be?).
