OK, so I'll jump into this thread in order to ease my way back to the list.
I work as a computer animator in Palo Alto, California. I was born and raised in Argentina, and moved to the US about seven years ago. I'm 33. I was married until early this year, now I'm separated and starting to enjoy this new part of my life. Photography is my way of doing something creative where I have all the control (at work, I'm always constrained by someone else's vision). I do, or try to do, street photography, my pictures are visible through the link in my signature, below. I travel quite a bit, and somehow managed to go to Europe or to Argentina about twice a year for the last four or so. Just came back from three weeks in Spain, where I drove around quite a bit, run with bulls in Pamplona, and took some passable pictures which I'm still editing. Oh, I shot with a battered black MX, and several lenses, usually on Tri-X or Fuji Neopan SS. I have a special talent to find bargain SMC glass, like a $50 K24/3.5, a $180 K85/1.8, and a $99 K30/2.8, among others. I also use a Leica M6 with a 50mm Summicron, and have periods where I favor one system or the other. That's about it... j -- -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Juan J.
