Back when my K-1 was still quite new, I had it on a seat next to me in a bus,
the camera started to slip off, I grabbed for it, just barely got ahold of one
corner of the display. I slowed the full, the lens snapped off its mount
(another story) and the display extended out with 3 of the 4 “legs” still in
place. I fiddled with it, couldn’t see how to just pop the connector on the
loose leg back in place, and eventually sent it to Precision. No lasting damage
except to my wallet.
