That's an interesting device!
However, there is one puzzling moment in the diagram caption in this
image:

I am unable to figure out what word they meant instead of "goose".
Are they on a wild goose chase? ;-)
(or is that me?)
BTW, it is listed for pre-orders on Ricoh website, but it is available on
Amazon since August 3, 2020: $139 for the monocular alone, and $199 for
the complete kit:
