Still probably features more zucchini than any human really wants to eat, but
you have to make some sacrifices. I found it when I was looking for ways to
eliminate extrinsic sugar from my diet to help get on top of gout.
What's worked for me is to stop eating white food. Anything made with
enriched white flour is poison, as is white rice.
Apples are fine, as are the occasional orange, but fruit juice is bad news.
Getting my BMI down to under 25 would be nice, but so far that hasn't
happened, so I am still on the pills.
If one is a sloth, get active. My diabetes came on after a couple of
years flying a desk. I'm back in a construction related job that keeps
me very active, and that really seems to help.
