Hello Gonz Sir, I am glad the photos brought out some happy memories. We are glad we dined at the Oyster House. Oh my God! That Clam Chowder & Lobster were simply out of this world, a foodies delight yummy yum. You are spot on Gonz Sir.
And John Sir, I am a little confused when you say "Legal Seafood aficionados might challenge that claim ..." If not for the food, one should go to the Union Oyster House for its Old World Charm. It was established in 1928. Beautiful work of Art inside and tools + stuff used by the early European Settlers. I saw some old Wooden Cameras too. I am a Non Resident Indian, a Foodie and a well traveled old fart on my duties as an Advisor in the world's largest conglomerate. I can vouch for Gonz Sir when he says "Yum, Union Oyster House... Been there a few times when I lived there. Some of the best Lobster, and for sure the best clam chowder. Or as they say in Boston, "Chowdah" The only other place I had yummy Lobsters was in Tripoli, Libya along with a relaxing smoke of Hookah. No Clam Chowder there but an excellent Crab & Fish Soup.
