Yes, 'tis the same optical design.

As for harsh bokeh (in the K-mount version) -

Admittedly, these are "worst-case" specimens, and usually the bokeh
is not as harsh as in these.

The 105/2.8 can be a good portrait lens (and the FL is a useful
one), but the bokeh is not one of its strong points.
