No, but wheels already exist. For example: http://www.globalindustrial.com/p/material-handling/hand-trucks-dollies/hand-trucks-folding/folding-cargo-luggage-cart-80-lb-capacity As previously mentioned in the thread, the bag will slip over pop-up luggage handles, so it would also work on a cart like this. Bags don't subtract anything from the total weight of your equipment. If you don't want the weight then you just have to take along less equipment. If the Nova Sport 35L is too large but you like the style and arrangement, consider the smaller sibling: Nova Sport 17L. My bag is pretty stuffed and weighs 25.5 lbs (but a good chunk of that is the laptop and power supply.) I wouldn't want to carry that on my shoulder very far, but I only really need to get it between accommodations and car. It is more about keeping things protected, organized and easy to get at than slogging around with, for me. One concern that I have with the bag is that this large bag might have a greater weight capacity than it's engineering can handle. The shoulder strap hardware (the D-Ring on the bag and the clip on the strap webbing) is plastic. (What kind, I'm not sure, but I think we all have experienced plastic that gets brittle with age or cold temperatures.) I would sure prefer stainless steel fittings there. The D-Ring could probably be changed out, but I'm not sure about the strap hardware. One would probably just have to find a better strap to replace the plastic one if one wanted that peace of mind. I'd hate to have a 25lb bag of equipment hitting pavement from my waist height. - - - - Life is too short to put up with bad bokeh. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
