Shel, I've got one almost exactly like this. Mine is orange, and the camera mount is on a small ball head. I've used it quite a bit, and it's earned a permanant place in my bag.
Bogen also makes a clamp, but theirs is made of plastic, and the ball head is extra money. I have the basic bogen clamp also, and find it to be too bulky to put in my bag, and the clamp doesn't open large enough. I think I can be coerced to take a picture of my clamp . . .
