Hi Bruce, you have had (2) SDM failures on the same lens, but you mention this like a "Khasi". In my part of the world a Khas is a goat that has been neutered. Sorry for saying that, but I thought you should be more vociferous and "demand" that Ricoh - Pentax repair it on FOC basis. I would have gone to the Consumer Court. Regards. Bipin.
