I gotta be honest. I see no difference between d7100 files and d600 files. None. Maybe slightly better DR, but that's about it. I don't see a need to go to full frame to resolve 24MP.
dynamic range interests me more than pixel count; conventional wisdom is that a larger sensor with the same number of pixels will have better dynamic range and a lower noise floor
