I totally agree with you, Mark. In fact, I find 12 MP of Ricoh GXR to be absolutely sufficient for my own purposes. So much so that Pentax K-5 is now secondary camera for me. I still think that 16 MP is too much for work that involves only occasional print no bigger than A3, though usually it is A4 and smaller.
