I think that I'm about ready to order a K-5. The two options I've been looking at is Prodigital 2000, who has it again at $1319 and B&H for $1379. Biggs camera has it on ebay for a "buy it now" for $1320, though the reviews online are mixed. Some of the complaints I see are similar to the complaints I see about my preferred brick and mortar store, and the rest are glowing praise. I figure it's best to ask folks with personal experience.
I was also shopping for a second battery, and there's a wide range in prices, with some of the third party batteries being as cheap as $7.
