I developed my very first roll of film at the weekend. It was a roll of
TRI-X 400. I used Kodak TMax developer, Ilfostop and Kodak fixer-hardener. I
was most elated at the results; my practicing with winding the film onto the
spools had paid off (no problems with the winding etc) and the negs look
good. I'm still awaiting delivery of the enlarger so I cant tell much more
than an eyeball of the negatives. One thing which is bothering me though is
that as the negs dried they developed a curl. not along the length of the
film but perpendicular to it. Is this normal when doing your own developing?
Is there something I can do to avoid it? I did wonder if I used the
fixer-hardener for longer than I should have (leaving it for the upper end
of the fixing time specified), other than that I did everything by the book.
Any thoughts / pointers?

Regards,
