Hi folks,

I haven't posted here in a long time (couple years maybe?), mostly 'cos my life and job got way too busy and I had a lot less time for photography (and much PDML reading). Recently things have got a lot better, and I am a lot more enthused about taking pictures again (and reading PDML of course!).

However, recently I got tired of looking at my old *istD sat idle and thought about selling it. I mentioned it to a co-worker and he was initially enthusiastic. Then I got this mail...

> Chris I think I will give your Pentax a miss. I have been looking at
> sample photos on the internet and they all have something in common,
> that they look a little harsh to me and the colours are not easy on
> the eye. That's what I like about my Fuji camera, the pictures are
> soft and natural looking.

Now, I don't mind that he doesn't want it - that's fine and I am not entirely sure I want to sell it anyway, but I get the feeling he might be dissing my wee camera a bit too much here? :) Harsh and the colours not easy on the eye? Has anyone ever come across that opinion of Pentax 'look & feel' before? Should I thump him? BTW I have no idea what Fuji he's on about but it's not a DSLR.

C.
