Hi Doug, I can't say I blame you for keeping it. The irony is I had a brand new one once but returned it becxause the dealer had sent it in error and I wanted the 300/4 APO for motorsport photography. I've been looking for one for some time, guess I'm still looking, if the rumoured DA*400/4 ever becomes a reality it would probably be out of my budget anyway. I've bought myself a Tamron 1.4x TC to try for the time being, I wish Pentax hadn't removed the SDM 1.4x TC from the roadmap, bummer!
