Although looking at the presentations here, there's nothing
particularly unusual about these courses. I wouldn't call them
stacked. Just small plates, nicely served.

Dave,
We drove along the Great Ocean Road to the Apostle Islands and then
up
to the Grampians.
For lunch, we stopped in Dunkeld, a pretty small town,
and I ordered a burger at the combo deli, restaurant, grocery store.
A cheeseburger with everything was meat, cheese, lettuce,
tomatoes(?),
pickle, fried egg and round of pineapple.
Now that was a surprise!

Mind you, a burger is stacked food too.

Dave,
Never thought of a Big Mac that way, but you're right.

Christine,
Not to worry. After 2 weeks down there on vacation, we got
really
tired of 'piled-up' food.
Everything was served with presentation in mind and much of it
was
build into towers.
Meat, potatoes, sauce, salad, and a topping.
We were real glad to get back to simple foods, simple
presentations.

I shall always associate you with dainty entrees/desserts on

I'm off to make
a crude dinner served on brown crockery, which I'll eat at the
computer
while sitting alone in my study with an occasional visit from
a spouse that
looks like Santa. Cheers, Christine
