Sorry for the sub epidermal result of my comments, Peter. After all your very adept re-do effort, I believe I prefer the original version. 'ya mad? ;( The additional and rather subtle, contour shadows in the egret's body seem to have come at the expense of some sharpness round the neck, head and beak. While the tree trunk may not be that close to the original shading, the color pattern adds to the image. Warning: I can be taken too seriously very easily. <BG>
