Interesting, as far as it goes. And relevant in regard to journalism and crime 
photography. I think your title misleads a bit. The article speaks of restoring 
the credibility of a photograph -- that is, developing a method of determining 
that a photo hasn't been altered when that is important. It says nothing about 
restoring "photography's credibility." But I suspect that distinction was 
inadvertent on your part.
