Frankly, Derby, I don't care if you don't like her work very much.  
Nor do I care that others are of similar opinion. As I said before,  
her work isn't that high in my sights either. But I do admire her use  
of lighting and concept, attention to detail. And I thought "A  
Photographer's Life" was much better than her commercial work, even  
if she herself said that she doesn't really do much of this kind of  
photography ... that's *my* opinion.

Whether the results are 'soulless' to you is a matter of personal  
opinion, which I respect but is no disparagement of the person.

What I dislike is the way people on this list, not being partial to a  
particular photographer's work, seem to want to attack the person,  
not just express that they dislike the art. To me, that is simply  
wrong and uncalled for.
