Hi George,

That's a good idea. In fact it is such a good idea that I already thought 
about it. :)
Though I haven't decided yet exactly how I will go about doing it.

I will definitely put up a few pictures and inroduce this "find" on my local 
blog. Maybe link it to another web gallery, asking people to help out 
identifying buildings, places and people.
Or I may approach the local news papers as well. Giving a few samples and a 
link.

Or/and contacting the local muséum, which at times has arranged exhibitions 
of old photographs asking visitors to help identifying places and people. 
People around here seem to enjoy doing that. (I'd say that the Alanders are 
particularly fond of caring about their past in such a way, because they 
will likely find old relatives and places they have a relation to in one way 
or another in the pictures.)
