Radio-telegraphist is OK but radio-telegrapher would be better. I hope you manage to do something with this archive. For me, when faced with huge tasks like this, the only way is to make sure that I do _something_ every day until it is finished, no matter how small that something is. Maybe a local museum would be interested in getting some of the donkey work (basic scanning) done in return for first consideration of the results?
