I ordered an AF540 flash on 4/04/07. Was out of stock at the time of order and I ultimately received the flash on 5/10/07. When received, I cut out the UPC panel, made a copy of the invoice (invoice dated 5/07/07) completed the "coupon" and mailed it that same day.
Today I received a notice from The Express Group Rebate Center advising me that I had failed to comply with the terms of the offer due to the following reason: "Submission not postmarked within allotted days of purchase date". (Offer stipulated that to be a period of 30 days). I'm sending a letter explaining why I couldn't provide the needed documentation until I received the item. It was, of course, clear from the initial submission and I believe they think they've found a loop-hole to slither through. Just something to be aware of.
