Hi, I have 2 handheld lightmeters, a Sekonic L-608 and a Sekonic L-208 Twinmate (http://www.sekonic.com/products/products.asp?ID=2), which uses a SPD metering cell.
I've had the Twinmate probably for about 6-7 years, and have used it a fair bit. Just recently though it has not been giving accurate readings, and is about 2 stops over what it should be (compared to the in-camera meter and the L-608). The battery is fine - I put a new one in to check the meter. I suspect it either needs zeroing, or the SPD thing has expired in some way. Is 6 years a reasonable lifetime for one of these? Does anyone know how to zero one? It's a very handy little meter, so I don't want to just throw it away unless I have no choice. tia, Bob -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
