I have one very slow, Dane-elec card. Shooting wildflwoers last weeks it was pretty noticeable when that card was in the camera, vs one of the Transcend of Sandisk Ultra III's. I usually shoot a cluster of shots hoping to catch the flower when the wind is still, then evalute and try again if needed. With the Dane card I saw no difference in the shooting, but a full buffer could take a few seconds to copy onto the card before I could look at the previews. With the transcends getting so cheap I don't see any reason not to got with them - they are slightly slower than the Sandisk Extreme III, but hardly noticeable. - MCC -- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Mark Cassino Photography Kalamazoo, Michigan www.markcassino.com - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
