In an informal test - i.e., without a stopwatch but by using a sweep second
hand - Bill Lawlor and I tested his K10D with an 80X card and a 150X card. 
There didn't seem to be much difference in terms of shooting speed and the
time to fill/empty the buffer for the first 9 or 10 shots.  Afterwards the
difference was negligible.  I'd feel OK about using an 80X card on the 10D
if that's what you have and you don't need to get the absolute maximum from
the camera.  Using a slow card the camera was a real slug.
