After seeing all the hubbub with this stuff on DPReview.com, I decided to leave my camera alone and do the fw 1.11 update. The AF is close enough and produces excellent results. If I really need critical focusing, I focus manually and use a focusing magnifier. It only makes sense if I'm using a tripod anyway.
