So, on Lawrences recommendation, I went and fiddled with the AF offset, and decided that at distance, the camera now had some front focus issues. A few tweaks later, and now I have neutral focus at distance, but the camera will now have some back focus, though not as much as when I started, at close focus. I also have been reminded just how very good the FA31mm is at f/8. It is one kick ass lens.
