This is not a private showing, as in just me. Not up to that yet, if I ever will be. :-)
I have entered the Walnut Creek Civic Arts Show/Sale. I don't have anything actually ready yet, and I only have 9 days left to put it together. So I'll probably do just submit straight photos, but I may try some collages/montages. We shall see how motivated and inspired I get before the deadline for hanging. I have no idea what a floater is and I have not really gone to more than one of these long, long ago. I entered on a whim, and could because I recently took that Photoshop class. The show will have pottery, paintings, and other things as well. Opening night reception (with free nibbles) is on Thursday 12/7 5-9 pm. I will also be serving as a floater that night from 7-9 pm. The show continues through Sunday 12/10. Thursday hours are 5-9pm, Friday 10am-9pm, Saturday 10am-5pm, and Sunday 10am-4pm. I am not expecting to sell anything, just doing it for fun. Anyone in the area who might want to come, contact me off list and we shall see if we can meet up before/after and go for coffee or drinks.
